The Experience
We are not the typical history class. We bring the whole experience with us; from minute details to overall sweeping atmosphere. Our knowledge and impressions come from firsthand resources and researched museum pieces.

Bodger / Spoon Maker
The Bodger comes to events, with the idea of creating projects throughout the day. While working with tools that would have been available to a Bodger, Jay interacts with the public walking them through various steps of the process, explaining each tool, its use and how it has evolved. Using Joseph Moxon and Andre Roubo as guides he has created an impression that leaves little to the imagination. Through this impression Jay hopes to inspire other woodworkers to rethink traditional woodworking and keep this craft alive.
The Street Crier will walk your streets crying 'Skewers, Spoons and flippers ready made!' That is to say, selling handcrafted spoons, forks and spatulas. Along with these, colorful tapes in wool and silk dance in the wind - with 'Tapes! Garters! and Treen for sale!' |
